How do we use the lessons of the past to inspire student action today? In this workshop, designed in partnership with the Miami University’s Ohio Writing Project, teachers will explore the intersections of history and storytelling and establish best practices in Holocaust education to foster empathy and critical thinking skills through reading and writing. Participants will leave with strategies to incorporate the Holocaust in their classrooms through primary sources, storytelling, history, and literature.
